26th & 27th finish live for Joints and I

Joints and I played a live tourney last night. We never did get an answer on how many entered, but it was a 400 max, and only three tables were not full. So we know it was 300+.

Joints went out in 27th, and the really odd part is that I went out the next hand in 26th. We were never tabled together is what made that funny.

It was a free entry, and ITM at 1st through 5th with prizes being paid in betting vouchers as this is hosted by Colonial Downs Race Track. (Horse Track)

We played pokerfest#1, and plan on playing in the upcoming #2 as well.

Being from PA and within an hour and a haft of Atlantic City, our relocation to VA, where the closes casino is still in Atlantic City (which is now over 5 hours away), we don’t get to play live very much anymore.

But we arrived early, placed a few bucks on the ponies and low and behold, Joints horse came in first and mine second. So even after a fill up of the gas tank, endless runs to the bar during the game, and a stop at the supermarket for wine and munchies on the way home, we came out well ahead of the game $$ wise! Woot woot woot

I have been struggling with my game, and really enjoyed playing live. I almost fell over when I realized I had to deal! It has been a long time since I laid my hands on real cards. LOL

Overall, it was a great night, we had a blast, made some money, and most of all, we made it home safe without incident.
