ROI the hidden truth.

lots of truth to this post el donko. Great number of the higher end players use the online stats( ROI) to gage a player. It is however very misleading, it does nothing, as you said, to tell whether is a skilled player or a lucky donk.

Also if i am not mistaken those stats or usually based per site they play on, and some are not reported upon at all. So looking up players "stats" could be very risky unless you come to the conclusion that he is a seasoned player and is consitantly in the money at each level of buy-in he plays!!!

Very good article El Donko! Learning is a big part of what forums are all about. I believe all players of all skill levels are constantly learning and will improve their games by making the effort to reach out at knowledge, grasp it and apply it to their game. Glad to have you here in this forum!

Stats are important to a player but it really doen't gauge a players skill at all. I really never consdered the level of sit n goes I played, I usaully just play whatever looked appealing at the time. Very inforamtive post, made me look a bit closer to how I play them in the future. Thanks for sharing El Donko
