It is play off time and looking at the stats looks like my team stands a good chance at making a run for the cup. Yes I'm talking HOCKEY, I'm a die hard hockey fan. When the season is truely over I will have more time for poker lol. I am Calgary fan not just cause I lived there, hey the logo is a friggin big flamin C lol Not cause my birthday is 666 or that my dad was born on the 6 and my son to, of course I was born june 6 hehehe A big ass C with flames is the C for me hahahahaha. Ok I got a grip, well sorta. Lets see who is truely a Canadian and see what team they are going for. Canadian wanna be's are welcome to lol. It will be nice to see the FLAMES holding up the holy grail this year. As for Detroit sorry but they are done, no goalie=no cup. Boston, Chicago are a couple that will be a threat in the playoffs.

I have always been a Maple Leaf fan but I haven't followed hockey in quite a while. I guess you know why since my team has been so bad in the last few years. Good luck to Calgary hope they win. I am more of a football fanatic and my team hasn't been in the playoffs for years now but I can't give up on them so easily (diehard raiders fan lol). Also Blue Jays fan. What's wrong with me lol. I guess I just root for the underdogs.

don't laugh trucker this year could be the year for my raiders. My son even bought me a sweatshirt with the raiders logo on the front and Tukie written on the back lol. He knows I want them to win the Superbowl before I leave this lovely world. Hopefully, God willing I'll be around for a lot more years to come at the rate their going lol.

I thought Calgary looked good in their first game although it looks like they need to pick it up in the third periods and lay off the penalties. I think Keenan needs to put Cammalleri back on Iginla's line. Think about it Cammalleri is having his best season ever, just makes sense. If it was my choice it would be Iginla-Cammalleri-Bertuzzi. Now that would be a line that would get shit done.
As for football I follow the CFL...more intense football if you ask me. You only get 3 downs and the feild is bigger. WTH we Canadians seem to do everything better

Look at Detriots roaster, the team is stacked with high end players. It's amazing that they can have all those players and keep it within the salary cap. And this is just the frist round wich they are playing the last place team. There are teams that will put the wings out. btw Calgary isn't out, they'll make a come back that is what they do best lol.

Well Calgary is out just I suspected. Chicago is a good team and have a good chance to make the final. I still have my second fav team in Pittsburgh. Although they aren't the team they were last year they still have a chance. Malkin has picked up his game and we all know Crosby is explosive when the time calls for it. However I felt he could have played better. Philadelphia did a good job getting under Crosby's skin. Crosby is going to have to be more disciplined if they are to make it futher.

The Stars need to recruit some younger players with speed and energy if they are to go anywhere in the NHL. A 12th place finish to end the season is a sign to improve your roaster

Well today all the big shot got their ass wooped today, that includes the Red Wings
Boston got beat badly losing to the Hurricanes 3-0 Cam Ward played an awsome game. The Thunder Bay boy Eric Staal took it to the Bruins, making Char look like a chump.
Detriot looking like they are gonna have a little trouble with the Anaheim. If the Ducks can stay out of the penelty box they stand a good chance to win the series, hell they already took out the 1st place team in the league.
